While a part of a larger group project, this powerpoint is the elevator-pitch breaking down the two-phase methodology of the project, using a quantitative survey to during eligibility for the second phase, an in-depth qualitative survey to understand where archivists stand with emerging AI technology in library and information science. Usage of these methodologies is fundamental for LIS as these methods can later be applied to focus groups, reference interviews, and standards surveys to improve library services and patron experience. This project analyzed real seed garden initiatives, their successes and their failures, and a plan for a seed library program and subsequent gardening club in a prospective version of the real Barbara S. Ponce Public Library in Pinellas Park, FL. I created a budget based off of real prices of that time, a realistic time table for BSPPL to be able to abide by, and assessed the demand for both the program and the club. Plans like these are integral to a library as they guide institutions through ever-tightening budgets, evolving user demands, and are abided by daily.
