Microfilm/Mekel Processing Final Project.
This section is dedicated to the final project for LIS5268,. This page displays my use of microfilm and houses both the paper and summary presentation on the software and hardware of Mekel MACH10’s, a leading kind of microfilm reader and processor. Microfilm once defined computer technology, and Library and Information Science evolved in tandem. It is important both for information archiving but also for historical preservation, as the physical microfilms decay and whatever history stored in it becomes lost.
